Antilles’ Dazzleball Shoot-Out a stand-out success
Lucitt & Co.

Last month’s introduction of pickleball-in-the-dark at the First Annual Dazzleball Social and Shoot-Out hosted by Antilles in south Naples knocked it out of the park. It was fun for all, residents and invitees alike, and well attended by those who had reserved play times and those who came to be dazzled, enjoy the pre-game refreshments, play a little bocce and see the new construction community. Views across Antilles’ 9,000 square foot outdoor amenities area were highlighted by a colorful sunset, and by the time the event ended, an almost-full moonrise crowned the night with its own serene beauty. It was a gorgeous night. Antilles’ quiet location and tropical setting enhanced the event.
At 8:30 the real party began. Dazzleball in all it glowing fluorescence took over. Antilles pickleball courts, nets, lines, equipment, and all who wore white or neon colors were illuminated by black light and glowed throughout the rest of the evening. It was a spectacle and the sheer novelty was as much fun for the spectators as for the players. A good time was had by all, rating as high on pickleball’s well known sociability scale as it did for the avid sport players in attendance.
